Donations
The Center provides guidance and advice on specific themes and topics from organizations engaged in ESG management, investment, and SDGs promotion based on educational, research, and academic expertise, and provides individual and concrete support for the work or activities of these organizations.
To further promote and enhance our research and educational endeavors, our Center has established the “ESG Integration Research and Education Fund(ESGインテグレーション研究教育基金)” at Osaka University. We are pleased to accept donations from individuals, organizations, and corporations who support our vision.
At the Center, we are committed to exploring pathways through which knowledge from international public policy related to ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) can be applied to link private sector business activities with the resolution of real-world social challenges. We also aim to offer practical options for companies already engaging in such efforts to more effectively align business success with the creation of a sustainable and inclusive future. Furthermore, we are dedicated to cultivating individuals who possess the mindset and ability to act on these goals.
If you share our vision, we would truly appreciate your support—regardless of the amount or type of donor. Your contribution to our Center will qualify for the preferential tax treatment applicable to donations made to the University of Osaka. For more details on the tax benefits, please click HERE.

Academic Consultation
The Center provides guidance and advice on specific themes and topics from organizations engaged in ESG management, investment, and SDGs promotion based on educational, research, and academic expertise, and provides individual and concrete support for the work or activities of these organizations.
This system allows researchers at our Center to provide expert advice and guidance to external organizations on a non-contractual basis, meaning it does not extend to formal commissioned or joint research projects. According to Osaka University’s internal regulations, the maximum annual cost to be borne by the requesting organization under this scheme is 2 million yen (excluding tax). This system is designed for advisory purposes only. It does not allow direct involvement in a company’s research and development activities or product promotion.
If your project is likely to generate intellectual property, we kindly recommend considering a contract research or joint research agreement instead.
